The staff at the hotel were extremely welcoming and friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast provided every morning was a delightful experience, with traditional homemade dishes that were a treat to start the day with. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect, right in the heart of the tourist area, with restaurants and beautiful canals with houseboats just a short distance away. It was convenient and allowed us to explore the area easily.
There were a couple of areas that could be improved upon. there were some issues with the electricity, resulting in the air conditioning not working properly.

The location of the hotel is convenient, as it is very near to the tourist attractions in the area. It is also situated on the outskirts of the town, which provides a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are tastefully furnished and comfortable, with attention to detail. The bathroom facilities are clean and tidy. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. the breakfast provided is delicious and offers a variety of options to suit different tastes.

Our stay at Wood Castle Serviced Appartments in Kerala was absolutely amazing! As an art lover, I was captivated by the traditional architectural beauty of the building, with its hand-carved gigantic door and wooden flooring. The room was cozy and comfortable, with antique furniture and a complimentary museum visit that showcased rare and cultural items. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, close to good restaurants and the backwaters for an evening stroll. Thank you for a 10/10 stay!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The wooden house was beautifully constructed in Keralan style, giving it a traditional and authentic feel. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of continental and Indian dishes, fruits, and drinks. The owner, who served the breakfast, was always smiling and provided useful information about the place and surrounding tour alternatives. The hotel also offered free bikes, which I used a lot during my stay. The WiFi had a good signal both inside and outside the room. There was always drinking water available from the kitchen, and the fridge was non-stop accessible. The room had a kettle with complimentary coffee, tea, and sugar. The hot shower was perfect after a tiring day, and the A/C worked well. There were also many nearby restaurants for hot meals for dinner. Lastly, the small balcony behind the room was great for listening to bird songs and enjoying nature in the early morning hours.
All was good.

I absolutely loved the beautiful woodwork and artistic decor throughout the hotel. The attention to detail in the decoration made me feel like I was in a cozy and elegant home. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel had easy accessibility, with well-lit hallways and comfortable seating areas for resting and socializing.
I would have preferred if the children working there could have been a bit more considerate of the noise they made. It would have made my vacation even more enjoyable.

Loved the boating in the backwaters, felt like escaping the chaos of city life. The museum was filled with blingy crystals and ivory, so posh! And the beach was perfect for relaxing, darlings.
Oh, how thrilling to have the bathroom outside! Such a delightful inconvenience.

Just returned from a fantastic stay at Wood Castle Serviced Apartments. The beautifully built, self-built house had so much attention to detail and the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable with modern and quiet air conditioning. The spacious bathroom had all the necessary installations and the balcony overlooking the forest was a great place to relax. The homemade breakfast was delicious and the museum on the premises was fascinating. Aswin's advice and help with our onward journey were much appreciated. We left feeling like friends, not just hotel guests.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
